彼の表現の根底にあるのは、現象の本質、人間の感情、そして内なる思考への探求であり、被写体を通じて目に見える表層の奥に潜む「本質的な要素」を表現している。特に海を捉えたシリーズにおいて、その探求は「時間」という従来の概念を超越した超時間的な感覚（タイムレスネス）を表し、写真という媒体を通して新たな視覚的感覚の可能性を模索している。

Shuichiro Kawasaki is a fine art photographer whose work has received widespread recognition in international competitions. At the core of his practice is an exploration of the essence of phenomena, human emotions, and inner thoughts. Through his subjects, he seeks to reveal the essential elements that lie beneath outward appearances. Particularly in his seascape series, this exploration evokes a sense of timelessness that transcends the conventional perception of time, ultimately exploring new possibilities of visual sensation through the medium of photography.

[Statement]
私は現象の本質とは、私たちが目にする表面の背後にある内面的な動きやエネルギーだと考えています。それは人間の外見と内面の関係にも似ており、私はその本質と人の内面性を一つの作品として表現したいと考えています。

私はカメラという道具を通じて、肉眼では見ることのできない物質の動きや色彩、エネルギーの痕跡を捉えています。そこに現れる形や色は、現象の本質がもたらすものだと考えており、人の感情や感覚、内面性といった精神的なものを映し出しているように感じています。

こうして生まれた作品は、人が通常の感覚では捉えきれない、まるで別の次元の情報とも言えるものです。私にとって作品制作は、そうした未知なる世界への探求であり、同時に新たな世界を創造する行為でもあります。

I believe that the essence of phenomena lies not in what is visible on the surface, but in the inner movements and energies that exist behind it. Much like the relationship between a person’s outward appearance and their inner self, I seek to express both the essence of phenomena and human interiority within a single work.

Through the camera, I capture traces of movement, color, and energy—elements that are imperceptible to the naked eye. The shapes and hues that emerge are, to me, brought forth by the essence of the phenomena themselves, reflecting emotions, sensations, and aspects of human interiority.

The resulting works reveal information that cannot be perceived through ordinary vision—something that could be described as another dimension. For me, the act of creation is both an exploration of unseen worlds and an act of bringing new worlds into existence.
